Welcome to Sandbrook Playgroup
We provide care and education for children from the age of two to five years old between the hours of 9am and 4pm each weekday during term time.
Sandbrook Community Playgroup is located in a Stoke Newington Victorian House – we emulate the experience of going to a friend’s home for a play date. Small, friendly and fun!
Our vision is of an outstanding community playgroup which is accessible to as many children as possible, whatever their background. We strive to be integral to the community and offer a supportive network which strengthens families and improves the lives of children in Hackney.
Sandbrook is a high quality community playgroup where children enjoy playing and learning safely with other children and where parents are encouraged to play an active role in their child’s early education. We offer support to families and give children a good foundation for getting the most out of life and developing the skills for adulthood.
Our Vision
AGE - Children can attend from 24 months until they start school
FEES - £7.75 per hour for 2 year olds / £6 per hour for 3 and 4 year olds (from Sept 2024)
FUNDED HOURS - 15 hours or 30 hours depending on child’s age and employment status
SESSION TIMES - Morning 9am to 12 noon (plus Lunch Club option) / Afternoon 1 pm to 4pm (plus Lunch Club option) / All day with Lunch Club
LUNCH CLUB - 12 noon to 1pm. Bring your own packed lunch
